Rurounin Kenshin ( るろうに剣心 )

 

   
 

The manga Rurounin Kenshin, covers the story of Kenshin Himura, a  warrior  called the Battosaï, during the Edo era. The story takes place in 1878 in Tokyo. Battosaï has a past and dark past as assassin. 

Kenshin , is a manga from the magaka Nobuhiro Watsuki. The complete work consists of 28 volumes; it was oiginally published in the weekly Shonen Jump from 1994 to 1999.

Rurouni Kenshin series was also released in four anime, one TV movie serie and  called ,and two OVAs.
