Naruto was published first in November 1999 in the famous magazine Shonen Jump. It is a manga of the "Shonen" category. The author is the magaka Masashi Kishimoto, and the publisher is Jump Comics.
As manga , Naruto is has a very large success with a total of 71 millions copies sold only in Japan. As per today the story consists in 39 volumes and 367 chapters and it is still going on.

As TV Anime, it was produced by Studio Pierrot and directed by Yuuto Date starting in October 2002. It was broadcated on TV Tokyo.

The story is about the teenager Naruto who is willing to become the strongest ninja of his village.
